Joshua Brown

V. President & Finance Chairperson

Joshua Brown, the youngest of 5 children, was born in Saint Paul, MN. Joshua and his wife, Whitney, have one daughter Aria Brown (3), and have lived in Fairburn, GA since 2020.
As a teenager, Joshua always knew one day he would open his own business. After high school he enrolled in college at Mankato State University where he studied Business Management. After his sophomore year at MSU, he transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he got his bachelor’s degree in business finance. During college Joshua successfully completed multiple internships including internal auditing at the MGM resorts.
In 2013, Joshua joined the Nevada National Guard where he served in the signal core as a Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer. Shortly after graduating college, his unit was deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. After a successful year-long deployment, Joshua and his wife took a trip to California, where they visited multiple food trucks. That trip would inspire them to open their own truck in Las Vegas.
After thinking about multiple business concepts, Joshua remembered eating fresh mini donuts at the Minnesota State Fair as a kid. Unable to shake that memory, Josh and his wife decided to start Operation Mini Donuts. After 3 successful years in Las Vegas, they moved the business to Georgia in 2020 and have been doing big fairs and festivals including the Kentucky State Fair, the North Georgia State Fair, Dragon Con, and the Atlanta Jazz Festival.
Joshua has been a member of FTAG since 2021 and the finance chair since Jan of 2022.
